“Walker stands as the epitome of diversity comprised of children with backgrounds from all over the globe with as many different languages spoken. Yet, the school is very close knit and has a family feel. We are a small title one (more than half of our population is at or beloe poverty level) school that works hard to provide every child the opportunity to suceed.”

“My daughter just completed six years at Walker. She has had fine, kind, hard-working teachers, two very good principals, and a clean, quiet, beautiful school with a large playing field and tall trees. Her classes usually had 18 to 20 students--most of them were there to learn.”

“I am very satisfied thus far. Walker staff has shown its support and genuine love and care for the well-being of the students. My son loves his teachers. I haven't had to convince him that he'll enjoy his school day. He looks forward to going every day. Great job!”

“I really liked spending some of my first 6 school years at Walker. All of my teachers left some kind of good impression on me. They all shaped the kind of person I am today. Theres so many activiies a child can do and is a good place to learn. I miss being there sometimes, but one of these days I'm going to have to find some time to visit.”
