In 1872, the railroads of Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul bought Miller's Mill and laid tracks that became two lines in 1892, and the next year the water and sewer lines were completed. The first sewage treatment plant was opened in 1903, which led to the construction of the first public sewer system in Morton Grove in 1905.

In 1874, Morton Grove began to grow to over 100 people, with a population of about 1,000 people and a total area of 2,500 hectares. Miller's Mill, a former riverside sawmill connected to the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul railroads and the Illinois Central Railroad, was renamed Morton Grove in honor of its founder, William Morton. After Morton became governor of New York, it was incorporated as a village in 1876 under the name Morton's Grove.

Baxter Laboratories bought a large portion of the former Poehlman site and became a major employer in the decades that followed, with offices in Morton Grove, Chicago, St. Paul and Chicago.

The company was sold and some jobs were cut, and I started to think about what I wanted to do, who I could do it for and what my strengths were as a designer. I decided it was the right time to start my own business, where I could combine my passions of art and graphics. Art Beyond Studio offers everything its clients need, from graphic design to photography, design, photography and video production.

Art Beyond Studio, Inc. is also the publisher of books on the visual arts and offers artists additional opportunities to engage with art through the publication of its magazine, "Lives of Artists." The magazine was founded to help artists promote their art and distribute it to galleries, museums and art consultants. Starting in 2017, Morton Grove Art Museum and Illinois State Museum of Art will present "Art in the Village" and host a series of special events, including Art in the Park events and exhibitions, as part of their ongoing efforts to promote artists published by the artist.

After all, the most important part was the expansion to include a new business area in 2009, and I was promoted to art director shortly after. Today Art Beyond Online reaches over 90,000 readers and its number is growing daily. I am grateful to the graphic designers who have created this publication beautifully, as well as the craftsmen at Morton Grove Art Museum and Illinois State Museum of Art.
